This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent police to direct the 3rd to 8th respondent police to not harass the petitioner and act in accordance with law. 2/7
2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner's husband brother Nagappan is a history sheeted accused. While so, on 27.01.2025 at about 3.07p.m. when she was alone with her two children in her house, the police team attached with the 3rd and 4th respondents have visited her house without giving any intimation to the petitioner. The special police team, frequently come to the house of the petitioner and made search of one Nagappan. Already the respondent police taken the Hard Disk of CCTV camera and thereafter they returned. Even though, the said Nagappan is the brother of her husband, but, nowadays, there is no relationship between the Nagappan and his family members. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a detailed representation on 31.01.2025 to the respondent police. The respondent police frequently visited the house of the petitioner and used to harass the petitioner. Hence, the present petition has been filed.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents would submit that one Nagappan is a history sheeted accused and he is the brother of the petitioner's husband. Moreover, the respondent police has received a secret information about the said Nagappan. Due to that reason only, the respondent police have made a search in the house of 3/7
the petitioner and verified the CCTV footage and they have taken the Hard disk of the CCTV camera and return back to the petitioner. The respondent police have not harassed the petitioner and they only made a search in the petitioner's house. There is no intention to harass the petitioner. Therefore, the present petition is liable to be dismissed. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has also assured that if the presence of the petitioner is required, the respondent police will issue appropriate notice to the petitioner.
4. Heard both side and perused the available material on record.

Considering the fact that the respondent police made a search in the petitioner's house based upon the secret information received by them and there is no intention to harass the petitioner, and the learned Counsel appearing for the respondents has also submitted that if the presence of the petitioner is required, then they will issue appropriate notice to the petitioner, this Court is inclined to dispose this petition after recording the said submissions of the learned Government Advocate. 4/7
6. Accordingly, recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 10.02.2025 Internet :Yes Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No gvn 5/7
