Respondents in both cases COMMON PRAYER:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records relating to the impugned notification issued by the 4th respondent dated 01.02.2024 and quash the same as illegal. Pleader COMMON ORDER When these matters are taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the notification issued by the 4th respondent dated 01.02.2024 as well as the auction, which is scheduled to be conducted on 12.02.2024 and 13.02.2024 are cancelled. In this regard, he has produced a copy of the "Notice" dated 10.02.2024 issued by the Commissioner, Virudhunagar Municipality. Hence, the prayer sought for in these writ petitions has become infructuous. 2/4

2. In view of the above, these writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. It is left open to the petitioners to challenge the subsequent proceedings, if it is necessary.
