Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct the rough enquiry in the petitioner's appeal dated 10.12.2020 bearing Ref.No.O.Mu.No.9176/2020 after issuing notice to the respondents 3 to 7 to dispose the same within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct the rough enquiry in the petitioner's appeal dated 10.12.2020 bearing Ref.No.O.Mu.No.9176/2020 after issuing notice to the respondents 3 to 7 and dispose of the said appeal within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.According to the petitioner, aggrieved by the inclusion of respondents 3 to 7 in the patta bearing No.333 dated 30.09.2019, the petitioner has preferred the aforementioned appeal before the first respondent. According to him, though the appeal was filed on 10.12.2020 till date, no further progress has been shown. In such circumstances, he seeks for early disposal of the appeal. 3.Heard Mr.N.Marimuthu, learned Counsel for the writ petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2.

W.P.[MD]No.3049 of 2022 4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's appeal is disposed of expeditiously. 5.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 10.12.2020 bearing Ref.No.O.Mu.No.9176/2020, after issuing notice to respondents 3 to 7 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three [3] months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording a fair opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as respondents 3 to 7.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
