ORDER
This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the Fast Track Mahila Court of Sivagangai to dispose the Sessions Case in S.C.No.142 of 2024.
2. According to the petitioner, she is the de facto complainant in this case and based on the complaint, a case in Crime No.32 of 2021 for the offences under Sections 498(A), 313, 315, 494, 465 and 109 of IPC was registered and now the case is pending in S.C.No.142 of 2024 before the Fast Tack Mahila Court, Sivagangai. The occurrence took place in the year 2021. So far no trial has been commenced in this case. Therefore, the petitioner filed this petition.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondent would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a 2/5
case in Crime No.32 of 2021 was registered against the respondents 2 to 6 and after completion of investigation, they filed final report. Based on the final report, the Trial Court also taken cognizance and now the case is pending before the Fast Track Mahila Court, Sivagangai in S.C.No.142 of 2024. In the meantime, the accused in this case has filed discharge petition and the same is pending for adjudication. The first respondent will cooperate for speedy disposal by producing witnesses as directed by the Trial Court.
4. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this petition, this Court even without issuing notice to the private respondents inclined to pass orders in this petition.
5. The case is pending from 2021 and now the case is pending before the Trial Court and the accused also filed discharge petition and the same is pending for consideration.
6. Considering the nature of offences and the long pendency of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the Trial Court to complete the trial as early as possible. Accordingly, the Trial Court, namely, Fast Track Mahila Court, 3/5
Sivagangai is directed to dispose of the case as early as possible, without granting any long adjournment beyond 15 days.
7. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
