O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property based on the online transfer application submitted by the petitioner on 20.08.2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he is the absolute owner of the subject property and that the patta now stands in the name of his mother. This property has been bequeathed by the mother of the petitioner in favour of the petitioner and hence, the petitioner made an application seeking for transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner. Since the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent to deal with the 2/4

application submitted by the petitioner on 20.08.2019 and pass necessary orders within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
