PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of CERTIORARIFIED MANDAMUS calling for the records pertaining to the impugned show cause notice issued by the 1st respondent to petitioner in Letter Ref.No.SCN/1052603924/25 dated 05.12.2025 and quash the same and consequently directing the respondents to re-issue petitioners Passport bearing No.F6146794 based on petitioners application No. 25-1065580178 dated 12.11.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court. 1/4

ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the order passed by the first respondent herein wherein he has called upon to offer his explanation for the adverse police report.

According to the learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the second respondent, the petitioner has been implicated in a criminal case in Cr.No.55 of 2021, on the file of the second respondent which has culminated in filing of a charge sheet in S.C.No.217 of 2024 on the file of the Second Additional District Court, Tuticorin.
3. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the concerned trial Court seeking permission of the Court to go abroad. In case if any such application is filed, the same shall be disposed of within a period of 4(four) weeks. Based upon the orders to be passed by the concerned trial Court, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law. 2/4
