ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the charge sheet in PRC.No.42 of 2019 on the file of the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thirupuvanam in Crime No.116 of 2014 on the file of the first respondent.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it is suffice, if a direction is issued to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thirupuvanam, to commit the case in PRC.No.42 of 2019 at the earliest and for speedy disposal of the trial. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that a direction may be issued to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thirupuvanam, to commit the case at the earliest and for speedy disposal of the trial.

4.In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings in PRC.No.42 of 2019 and accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However, the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thirupuvanam is directed to commit https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.3232 of 2020 the case in PRC.No.42 of 2019, within a period of one month from the date of next hearing ie., on 31.03.2020. The learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Sivagangai, shall direct the concerned Court, where, the case is made over, to complete the trial in expeditious manner, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receiving the case bundles in PRC.No.42 of 2019.
