This petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein to grant permission and to give adequate police protection to conduct the Innisai Katcheri and other related programmes on 23.01.2018 at 10.00 p.m. to 03.00 a.m. in the eve of "Arul Mighu Ramalingasamy Udanurai Sivagamiammal Sri Nambi Singaperumal Thirukovil" Festival at Panakudi, Rathapuram Taluk, Tirunvelveli District by considering the petitioner's representation daed 13.01.2018 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Heard, Mr.G.Karnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.P.G.Ohm Chairman Prabhu, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the Executive Officer of H.R. & C.E. Department has passed an order granting permission to Adidravidar Community to celebrate the function in the said temple on 23.01.2018 and on behalf of the said community the petitioner has submitted a representation before the respondents, but so far no order has been passed. 4.The learned Government Advocate has submitted that the petitioner has not produced any proof to show that he is representing for Adidravidar community and hence, he requests the Court to give a direction to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation.

5.Considering the above said submission, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation with all relevant documents before the second respondent on or before 21.01.2018 and if such representation is made by the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to consider the said representation and also enquire the Executive Officer of H.R. & C.E. of the concerned temple and pass appropriate orders on or before 22.01.2018. 6.With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
