ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to his family members for their life and limb by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 21.01.2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was conducted and at the enquiry, the petitioner has given a statement that no further action is necessary and on that basis, the complaint was ordered to be closed. He would further submit that the petitioner's representation for police protection, dated 21.01.2023, is pending before the second respondent.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
