ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.157 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent 1/4

police.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal) appearing for the first respondent would submit that already they have completed the investigation and filed the final report before the Judicial Magistrate No.5, Madurai. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication.

3. In this case, the petitioner has challenged the pending F.I.R in Crime No.157 of 2024, but the investigating agency after an elaborate investigation, they have filed the final report and the same is pending before the Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai.

4. Since the prayer of the petitioner is to quash the F.I.R and as per the F.I.R, there are some allegations to constitute the offences and in the mean time, the first respondent have filed the final report after an elaborate investigation, it is appropriate to close the petition by preserving the liberty of the petitioner to challenge the final report, if it is against him. 2/4

5. With the above said observation, this criminal original petition is closed.
