ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to take Shreeja, W/o.Anil Kumar a resident of Idaicodu, Elanchirai, Vilavancode, Kanyakumari District to the nearest public health establishment for assessment of the mental condition and for appropriate follow up action.

2. The respondent police filed counter stating that the said person was taken care by her son-in-law Ajith Kumar. There is a money dispute between the petitioner and the family members of the above said persons, thereby exaggerating the same, the present petition has been filed. Therefore this petition is liable to be dismissed. 2/4

3. Considering the counter of the respondent and the alleged mentally retarded person is under the care and custody of her son Ajithkumar and the said fact also not seriously disputed by the petitioner , no further order is required to be passed in this petition, hence the petition stands closed. No costs.
