This petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct the ''Aadalum Paadalum'' dance program on 28.01.2018 in pursuant to the "Thai Festival" in Arulmigu Sri Chitraratu Veeriamman Kovil at Elanji, Tenkasi Taluk, Tirunelveli District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2018. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year the village people are celebrating the festival by conducting the programs such as 'Adalum Padalum'' dance Program, likewise, on 28.01.2018, also they decided to celebrate the festival at the above said temple and for that, they have already given a representation dated 02.01.2018 to the respondent and no order has been passed till now.

4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 02.01.2018 and dispose of the same on or before 25.01.2018. 5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
