The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the second respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.41 of 2017 and to file a final report. 2.Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would contend that the investigation in Crime No.41 of 2017 of City Crime Branch, Tiruneleli City is underway and prayed for five months time to file a final report.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2813 of 2021 Advocate (Criminal side), the second respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report/referred charge sheet, as the case may be in Crime No.41 of 2017 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order.

4.With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
