This petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent herein to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 19.07.2014. 2.The petitioner seeks police protection on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2014. Now, nearly 4 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. 3.In view of the same, this criminal original petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected M.P.(MD) No. 1 of 2015 is dismissed.
