ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner made a complaint to the respondents, inter alia, alleging that there are wide spread encroachments in the Valanadu Kanmaai, Mudukulathur Taluk, Ramanathapuram District. On receipt of the same, it was accordingly sent by the first respondent to the second respondent to look into the same. Seeking further action on the same, the present petition is filed.

2. Taking note of the communication sent by the first respondent to the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.R5/440/2021, dated 19.01.2021, we call upon the said authority or the third respondent, as the case maybe, to take appropriate action to remove the encroachment, if any and restore the water body. The needful in this regard will have to be done within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
