PETITION FOR BAIL Under Sec.439 of Cr.P.C.
PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.111/2008 on the file of the Respondent police.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
2. The petitioner is figuring as accused No.7 in C.C.No.339 of 2018 on the file of the Principal District and Sessions Court, Dindigul.
3. When the petitioner earlier moved the bail petition, a statement was made before this Court that the entire trial in the case will be over on or before 31.01.2020. Since the said time line was not adhered to, the petitioner has come forward with this bail petition.

4. The petitioner's counsel states that out of 63 witnesses, only 10 witnesses have been examined so far and that therefore the trial will not be concluded.
5. The learned Public Prosecutor states that 40 witnesses have already been examined and thereafter, the Court below dispensed with the remaining witnesses.
6. The learned Public Prosecutor states that trial will be concluded very shortly. The learned trial Judge is directed to hold the trial on day to day basis. The evidence of the investigation officer which is likely to take about a week's time. Two more weeks is likely to be given for taking examination under Section 313 of Cr.P.C. Thereafter the defence witnesses may take about further a week's time.
7. The learned Public Prosecutor states that the entire process will be completed on or before 31.03.2020. The time line will be strictly adhered to. It is made clear that if the time line is not adhered to, this Court will not hesitate to grant relief to the petitioner.
8. With this observation and direction, the criminal original petition stands dismissed.
