ORDER

The petitioner has filed this contempt petition alleging that the order passed by this Court in Crl.OP(MD)No.5949 of 2024, dated 18.04.2024, has not been complied with. By the said order, this Court has directed the Inspector of Police, Uthappanayakkanur Police Station, to file the final report in connection with Crime No.85 of 2022 within a stipulated time limit.

2.When this contempt petition came up for admission today, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that they have completed the investigation and filed the final report on 10.07.2024 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.2, Usilampatti. He has also furnished a copy of the notice issued by the learned Magistrate in RCS.No.84 of 2024 informing the petitioner about the final report filed in Crime No.85 of 2022 and also permitting him to appear before the Court and to raise his objections, if any, on 11.03.2025.

3.Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this contempt petition stands closed. Index :
