ORDER
Seeking to transfer the investigation of the above said case in Crime No. 66 of 2025 from the file of the 3rd respondent police to CBCID /4th respondent for further investigation and to file a final report before the concerned Court within the time stipulated by this Court, this criminal original petition is filed.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that she is the defacto complainant on whose instance F.I.R in Crime No.66 of 2025 was registered by the 3rd respondent police for the offences under Section 318(4) IPC and Sections 4(1) & 76(1) of The Chit Funds Act, 1982 as against one Mathankumar and others for having induced the petitioner and her family members to invest huge sums of money in an unlicensed chit fund and having cheated them. However, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition. 2/5
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that investigation is in progress.
4. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record.
5. In view of the above, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to conclude the investigation as expeditiously as possible within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order and apprise the progress of the investigation to the the 2nd respondent every Friday. Further the the 2nd respondent is directed to monitor the investigation conducted by the 3rd respondent.
6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
