This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in Na.Ka.No.4402/2024 within the time stipulated by this Court. Page No. 1 of 4

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that one Solai, without any valid or authenticated documents, fraudulently obtained a patta in his name in respect of the petitioner's property. Therefore, the petitioner filed an appeal before the respondent seeking cancellation of the said patta, which is pending in Na.Ka.No.4402/2024. Hence, the petitioner has been constrained to file the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's appeal in Na.Ka.No. 4402/2024 would be disposed of within a period of twelve weeks.

5. Recording the above submissions and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal in Na.Ka.No.4402/2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of Page No. 2 of 4

this order. The appeal shall be disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The respondent shall afford a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the said Solai and all other interested parties before passing orders. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the competent Civil Court. No costs.
