[Judgment of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J] The order of the third respondent dated 03.01.2019 was put to challenge by the appellant in W.P.(MD).No.2921 of 2019 in and by which, the dead body was directed to be taken to an alternative route during the Kumbabisegam period in Arulmigu Kottai Mariamman temple from 13th January 2019 to 19th March 2019. The writ petition was dismissed. Against that, the present appeal has been filed. 2.Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would state that the period is already over and the prayer sought for in the writ appeal has become infructuous.
3.In view of the fact that the period had already expired, we are of the view that this writ appeal has become infructuous. 4.Accordingly, this writ appeal is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
