Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records in the impugned order in ViNi & E.Sha (OC) 31/11-12 dated 18.08.2012 by the 3rd respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to grant the Finance Assistance under the Chief Minister s Farmer Welfare Scheme.

[Judgment of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J] Heard Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned counsel for the appellant. 2.This writ appeal is directed against the order of the learned Single Judge passed in W.P.(MD).No.71 of 2015, dated 06.02.2019. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The respondent herein filed the writ petition seeking relief under the Chief Minister's Farmer Welfare Scheme introduced vide G.O.Ms.No.265, Revenue Department, dated 10.09.2011. It is not in dispute that the writ petitioner's husband died in an accident on 18.12.2003. Her application was rejected on the ground that he was not issued with maroon colour card. Perusal of the relevant Government Order would show that it was not mandatory that the deceased should be issued with a maroon card, on the other hand, he should be eligible to get the card. It is also to be noted that the Government Order was issued to secure the social justice. 4.The learned Single Judge, after considering the relevant facts and also the G.O, has set aside the order of the appellant and directed them to disburse a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- to the writ petitioner within a period of 8 weeks.

5.In view of the above, we find no merits in this writ appeal. 6.In fine, the writ appeal is dismissed. No costs.
