Common Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned inter seniority in Memo No.2017-12/Adm-II/A1/F.Foreman/2017 dated 28.12.2017 and revised suitability report of the second respondent in Memo No.2018/01/Adm-II/A1/F.CI/LI.-FM-Panel/2018 dated 03.01.2018 quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to promote the petitioner to the post of Foreman I Grade as per proceedings of the second respondent in Memo No.2017/12/Adm-II/A1/F.Foreman/2017 dated 18.12.2017 and also creating supernumary post as per Clause 5 (viii), (ix), (x) & (xi) of 2015 Committee Report and Clause (c) & (e) of 2016 Report.

COMMON ORDER The writ petitioners are aggrieved by the impugned order dated 03.01.2018 whereby the panel for promotion to the post of Foreman Grade-I has been approved. The writ petitioners are aggrieved by the ranking assigned to them in the said promotion panel. The writ petitioners have raised objections on 12.01.2018. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioners would submit that one Thangaraj who was their erstwhile junior has been placed above them.

3.The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the objections lodged by the writ petitioners within a period of four weeks from today. Both the writ petitions are disposed of as indicated above. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
