This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to permit the petitioner to conduct light music programme during Kumbabhisekam festival in Sri Pachaiamman Temple, Malvai Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District on 28.01.2018 at about 08.00.p.m, onwards and provide adequate police protection. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the village people are celebrating the festival by conducting the programme such as light music Programme, on 28.01.2018. They have decided to celebrate the festival at the above said temple and for that they have already given a representation dated 17.01.2018, to the respondent and no order has been passed till now. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has not raised any serious objections. 4.

Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 17.01.2018 and dispose of the same at early by considering the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Church of God (Full Gospel) in India Vs. K.K.R, Majestic Colony Welfare Association and Ors, reported in 2001 - 1 - L.W. (Crl.) 233 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
