ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's RTI Appeal dated 08.06.2017 by considering the petitioner's representations dated 22.08.2017 and 13.10.2017.

2.Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the second appeal filed by the petitioner has been taken on file in S.A.No.4431 of 2017 and the Commission has conduct an enquiry on the same and the appeal will be posted for enquiry in accordance with seniority of second appeals. The learned counsel has also produced a copy of letter dated 24.01.2018 sent by the Tamil Nadu Information Commission to that effect.

3.Considering the fact that the appeal filed by the petitioner has already been taken on file, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
