This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant permission to perform the cultural programme of "Adal Padal" on 31.01.2018 at about 07.00pm., to 12.00pm., night at Arulmighu Kaliamman Thirukovil situated at Malli Village, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Viruthunagar District and to provide adequate police protection based on the petitioner's representation dated 19.01.2018.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the village people are celebrating the festival by conducting Adal Padal programme such as cultural Programme, on 31.01.2018. They have decided to celebrate the festival at the above said temple and for that they have already given a representation dated 19.01.2018 to the respondent and no order has been passed till now.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has not raised any serious objection. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 19.01.2018 and dispose of the same at early by considering the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Church of God (Full Gospel) in India Vs. K.K.R, Majestic Colony Welfare Association and Ors, reported in 2001 - 1 - L.W. (Crl.) 233. 5.With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
