This petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct the "Aadalum Paadalum" dance programme on 13.02.2018 inn pursuant to the Sivarathri Festival of Arulmigu Santhana Karuppasamy Thirukoil, situated at Orathur Village, Siruvavur Post, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai Distrcit, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.01.2018. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the village people are celebrating the festival by conducting the Programme such as "Aadalum Paadalum" dance programme, on 13.02.2018. They have decided to celebrate the festival at the above said temple and for that they have already given a representation dated 17.01.2018 to the respondent and no order has been passed till now.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has not raised any serious objection. 4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 17.01.2018 and dispose of the same at early by considering the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Church of God (Full Gospel) in India Vs. K.K.R, Majestic Colony Welfare Association and Ors, reported in 2001 - 1 - L.W. (Crl.) 233 5.With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
