ORDER

The petitioner claims to be the owner of the property in survey No.140/5, situated at Pattaputhur, Varatharajapuram Village, Srivaikundam Taluk, Thoothukudi District, made applications before the respondent on 19.04.2012, 06.09.2012, 06.09.2015 and 19.07.2017 to measure the above property and he has also paid necessary fee for the same. But, so far, no action has been taken by the respondent. Hence, he filed this writ petition.

2.Heard Mr.KA.Raamakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.J.Padmavathy Devi, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent.

3.Considering the fact that the petitioner's applications are pending for long time without conducting survey, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.07.2017 and conduct survey of the property, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as to the interested parties, if any.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
