The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd Respondent to award adequate police protection to the petitioner, while at the time of carrying out the construction work of bathroom and toilet at the petitioner's house site in Survey No.945/31 Landhakottai Village, Guziliamparai Taluk.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials placed on record.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner had earlier given a similar complaint in respect of which an enquiry was conducted and finding that it was civil dispute between the parties and the same was closed. He would further submit that in respect of very same allegations, a fresh complaint has been given to the Grievance Cell. 4. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks liberty to approach the appropriate Civil Court.
5. Recording the aforesaid submission, the instant Criminal Original Petition stands closed. The petitioner is always at liberty to approach the appropriate Civil Court.
