ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing respondent herein to consider representation of the petitioner, dated 08.10.2025.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the subject property is ancestral in nature. Due to a dispute that arose between the petitioner and his family members, the petitioner filed O.S.No.26 of 2020 seeking partition before the Sub Court, Vedasanthur, and obtained an order of interim injunction restraining the defendants therein from alienating the suit schedule property to third parties during the pendency of the suit, which is still pending. While so, the seventh defendant, namely G.Ponnammal, fraudulently executed a sale deed in favour of one Manikandan, who subsequently approached the respondent herein and obtained a patta in his favour. Seeking cancellation of the said patta, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 08.10.2025. Since no action has been taken on the representation so far, the petitioner has been constrained to approach this Court seeking the relief stated supra.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.10.2025, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to state that in the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
