O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the order in M.C.No.10 of 2014 on the file of the District Munsif-cumJudicial magistrate, Orathanadu. 2.When the matter was posted for admission on 22.12.2014, at request of the petitioner and it was ordered to post on 06.01.2015. Thereafter, the matter is pending for the past 4 years without even ordering notice or admitting by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner herein. It seems that the petitioner has no interest to proceed with the matter, further. More over, the case is of the year 2014. Therefore, this Court is of the view that the pendency of this criminal original petition would not serve for any purpose.

4.In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
