O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.) This Habeus Corpus Petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein to secure the petitioner's wife namely the detenue by name Sangeetha, W/o. Manikandan, female aged 28 and produce before this Court and hand over the detenue to the petitioner.

2. The petitioner got married the detenue and they have been living together. While so on 10.05.2025 his wife left the matrimonial home and did not return back, therefore the petitioner lodged complaint before the second respondent and the same has been registered in Crime No.84 of 2025 under 'woman missing'. During investigation the second respondent found that the wife of the petitioner eloped with one Kumar and they are staying at Tirupur.

3. Today the detenue was secured and she stated that she is not willing to live with the petitioner. Therefore the detenue is not under illegal detention of any one.

4. In view of the same, the petition stands dismissed. However the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Family Court for appropriate relief.
