ORDER:- Criminal Original Petition is coming on for hearing on this day and upon perusing the earlier order of this Court and the requisition letter submitted by the Sessions Judge, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of cases under POCSO Act, Thoothukudi vide the Letter in D.No.383 of 2021 dated 26.02.2021 and upon appeared of Mr.R.Murugan, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.A.Robinson, Government Advocate(criminal side) on behalf of the Respondent, this Court made the following order:

This Court directed the trial court to complete the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order passed in Crl.O.P(MD)No.3187 of 2020 on 24.02.2020. The Sessions Judge, Special Court for trial of cases under POCSO Act, Thoothukudi, has sought for further extension of time of three months.

CRL OP(MD). No.3187 of 2020 Thoothukudi in the letter in D.No.383/21 dated 26.02.2021 addressed to the Registry of this Court.

3.In the circumstances, the Sessions Judge, Special Court for trial of cases under POCSO Act, Thoothukudi, is directed to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible.
