PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fifth respondent i.e., the Commissioner of Municipal Administration, Chennai, to arrange to disburse the petitioner's retirement benefits by sending necessary proposals to the Director of Local Fund Audit, Chennai based on the specific report No.C1/295406 dated 23.06.2006 and the counter affidavit filed by the Commissioner of Karur Municipality in September 2015 in W.P.(MD). No.3936 of 2015, within a specified time frame, that may be fixed by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The petitioner was employed in the third respondent/Municipality. He retired on 30.06.2017. However, his pensionary benefits have not yet been disbursed. In this regard, proposals have also been received by the first respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.The first respondent is directed to pass orders on the aforesaid proposals on merits on or before 30.05.2018 and disburse the consequential benefits also.
