This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to grant police protection and permission to conduct the Night Lighting Kapadi Tournament (Minnoli Kabadi Potti) from 03.02.2018 at 09.00 pm., to 04.02.2018 at 09.00 am., in the Samariya St.Johns Higher Secondary School Sports Ground at Thisaiyanvilai, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 11.01.2018 connection with the Indian Sports Club at Tisaiyanvilai.

2.Heard, Mr.M.Laxmi Mahendraa, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Shanmugaselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is one of the Villagers of the Tisaiyanvilai Village. The villagers are conducting the Kabadi Tournament in every year and this year, they have decided to conduct the Kabadi Tournament on 03.02.2018 and 04.02.2018 and for that they have already given a representation dated 11.01.2018 to the second respondent and no order has been passed till now. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has not raised any serious objection. 4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 11.01.2018 and dispose of the same at early by considering the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Church of God (Full Gospel) in India Vs. K.K.R, Majestic Colony Welfare Association and Ors, reported in 2001 - 1 - L.W. (Crl.) 233.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
