ORDER
The present petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the fifth respondent based upon the CSR No.153/2024, dated 12.06.2024 and CSR No. 247/2024 dated 22.06.2024.
2. According to the petitioner, the private respondent No.5 borrowed money in the guise of arranging job to the petitioner's son and he paid a sum of Rs.1,82,152/-. After receipt of the amount, the fifth respondent neither arranged job nor repaid the money. When the petitioner approached the fifth respondent for return of money, he threatened with dire consequences. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 12.06.2024. Since the same was not considered by the respondents, the petitioner again lodged a complaint on 22.06.2024. But no action was taken as against the fifth respondent. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents would submit that based on the complaints given by the petitioner, they enquired the matter and the enquiry is still pending and they will complete the enquiry within one week.

In view of the above said representation of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents the enquiry is pending and will complete the enquiry within one week, this Court directs the respondents 1 to 4 to dispose the complaints given by the petitioner in accordance with law on merits, within a period of one (1) week from the date of this order.
5. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
