ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to grant patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of land in Survey No.292/5 to an extent of 0.08.0 Ares by implementing the proceedings of the first respondent dated 02.12.2015 and by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.10.2017.

2.Heard Mr.J.Anandkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.It is submitted that the petitioner has filed an application seeking patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of land in Survey No.292/5 to an extent of 0.08.0 Ares situate in Karugudi Village, Ilangudi, Thirupatthur Taluk. According to the petitioner, the Revenue Divisional Officer has already passed an order dated 02.12.2015 directing the Tahsildar, to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the above said land. Despite the same, the second respondent has not granted patta to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition for the aforementioned relief.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the first respondent has already passed an order directing the Tahsildar to issue patta in favour of the petitioner, this Court, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.10.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
