ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No. 143 of 2024 dated 1/4

20.06.2024 on the file of the respondent police station and file a final report before the Judicial Magistrate Court within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner he is the defacto complainant in this case and based on the complaint by him a case has been registered in Crime No.143 of 2024 for the offences under Sections 120(B), 408,420 and 109 of IPC. Thereafter the respondent police have not conducted proper investigation and not filed final report so far, hence he has filed the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) submitted that the accused was absconding and thereafter came to know that he was arrested in some other case and they are taking steps to make formal arrest in this case. However investigation is still going on and therefore he seeks time to complete the investigation.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer of the petitioner and the fact that the case was registered on 16.03.2024 and so far investigation not yet completed , this Court directs the respondent police to complete the 2/4

investigation and file final report before the concerned Court within a period of one month from the date of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
