This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first Respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.1149 of 2021 on the file of the second Respondent to any other officer not below the rank of Inspector of Police to conduct the investigation in accordance with law and to file the final report.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the Respondents would submit that the investigation had been completed and the final report had also been laid before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Srirangam on 17.03.2022.
