This writ petition is filed for Writ of Mandamus,to direct the first respondent to disposal of the pending Advocate Fees application in prison 2022 year and 2023 year and on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 23.01.2024 before the Law Secretary at Chennai to give Rs.1,96,500/-. 2.The learner Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has filed a counter stating that the appropriate authority is the The Public Secretary, Secretary to Government of Tamilnadu. 3.After filing the counter, the petitioner has filed W.M.P.(MD).No.19516 of 2024 to delete the first respondent and implead the Public Secretary as third respondent and the same was allowed. Therefore, the newly impleaded respondent/third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.01.2024 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
