O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to permit and protection for Cycle Race event on 28.01.2018 at morning 08.00.am., to 06.p.m., from Savadi Maidanam, Athavathur Village to Thaogaimalai Village, Trichy District.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the village people are conducting the Cycle race event on 28.01.2018. They have decided to celebrate the cycle race https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ event at the above said village and for that they have already

given a representation dated 12.01.2018, to the respondent and no order has been passed till now.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has not raised any serious objections.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 12.01.2018 and dispose of the same at early by considering the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Church of God (Full Gospel) in India Vs. K.K.R, Majestic Colony Welfare Association and Ors, reported in 2001 - 1 - L.W. (Crl.) 233.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
