Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.C.JEGANATHAN for M/S.VEERA ASSOCIATES, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.A.RAMAR, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time for executing the order passed in Crl.O.P(MD).No.5248 of 2017, dated 19.06.2017.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. This Court by order dated 19.06.2017 directed the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ to appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days
from the date on which the said order copy was made ready. The petitioner failed to appear before the concerned Magistrate within the stipulated time. The copy of the order was made ready on 07.07.2017 and the present petition is filed in time.
4. Considering the reasons assigned for extension of time, this petition is ordered. Time for executing the order passed in Crl.O.P(MD).No.5248 of 2017, dated 19.06.2017, is extended for a period of one week from the date on which the order copy is made ready, as last chance.
