PRAYER: The petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the encroachment made in Survey No.1662/19 (Old Survey No.517) which is situated at Maraneri Village, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District based on the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2018.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM,J.) By consent, Writ Petition itself, is taken up for final disposal. Mr.M.Pandiarajan, Learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 to 4.

2.This Writ Petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove encroachment made in Survey No.1662/19 (Old Survey No.517) situated at Maraneri Village, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District based on the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2018.

3.Learned Additional Government Pleader produced a communication dated 23.05.2018.

4.Communication dated 23.05.2018 informs that such encroachment has already come to the notice of the authorities concerned and they have acted appropriately in the matter. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In the circumstances, there is no need to entertain this Writ petition, which seeks relief against fifth respondent by way of public interest litigation. Accordingly, this Writ petition shall stand dismissed. No costs.
