This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant permission and accord protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament scheduled on 03.02.2018 from 06.00p.m., to 04.02.2018, 09.00 a.m, and 04.02.2018 06.00p.m, to 05.02.2018 09.00 am., two days going to held in Vaigai River ground, Backside of Sellur Bus Stop, Madurai.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the people are conducting the Kabadi Tournament, on 03.02.2018 from 06.00p.m., to 04.02.2018, 09.00 a.m, and 04.02.2018 06.00p.m, to 05.02.2018 09.00 am., two days. They have decided to conduct Kabadi Tournament at the above said place and for that they have already given a representation dated 19.01.2018, to the respondent and no order has been passed till now.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent has not raised any serious objections.

4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 19.01.2018 and dispose of the same at early by keeping in mind the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Church of God (Full Gospel) in India Vs. K.K.R, Majestic Colony Welfare Association and Ors, reported in 2001 - 1 - L.W. (Crl.) 233 5.With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
