ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.C.Ramesh, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents/contemnors would submit that the order passed in the writ petition dated 16.09.2020 has been complied with and in this regard, he has produced a copy of the proceedings of the District Collector concerned, dated 12.11.2020.

2.In view of the same, this Court does not think that this contempt petition can be kept pending anymore and accordingly, the same stands closed. However, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings of the District Collector, Ramanathapuram District, dated 12.11.2020 in a manner known to law, if he is so advised.
