ORDER

The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking to issue a direction to the 2nd Respondent issue the appointment order to the petitioners by considering their representation, dated 23.01.2024, consequently direct the 2nd respondent either to issue the basic salary to the petitioners, till the issuance of appointment order to them or direct the 1st respondent to issue fresh allotment order to any other department in the petitioners' home town within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 to 4. Perused the materials available on record.

3.As per the notification issued by the first respondent, the petitioners were applied for the post of Typists in Combined Civil Services Examination -IV (Group IV) and wrote the written examination on 24.07.2022. Since they were successful in the written examination, they were called for certificate verification on 26.08.2023. On different days, all the petitioners have chosen the 2nd respondent Department through Counseling and all were selected for the post of Typists. However, no appointment order either from the first respondent or from the second respondent was received by the petitioners. Therefore, the petitioners sent a representations to the respondents on 23.01.2024 and the same was not considered. Hence, this writ petition came to be filed.

4.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that it would suffice if the representation submitted by the petitioners is considered by the respondents within the time limit stipulated by this Court.

5.In view of the above said submission and considering the limited scope of the prayer, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, 4/7

directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners, dated 23.01.2024 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of six(6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
