ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.74 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent police 1/4

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that based on the complaint given by the second respondent they registered case in Crime No.74 of 2024 and thereafter they conducted detailed investigation and final report as 'Action Dropped' and RCS notice also served to the defacto complainant/second respondent, thereby nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is preparing for TNPSC examination and this Court can record that the closure of the complaint is not a bar to the Government Job.

4. The prayer of the petitioner is that a case has been registered against him and the same was closed as action dropped, infact he is no way connected in that incident but his name was wrongly included. The petitioner has passed in the TNPSC competitive exam, therefore it is appropriate to consider the request of the petitioner. Due to this case his employment in future will affect. Since the case against the petitioner in 2/4

Cr.No.74 of 2024 was already closed as action dropped, the said closure no way affect the petitioner's future employment.

5. In view of the said submission of Government Advocate(Crl.side), that the case was closed as 'Action Dropped' and RCS notice also served to the defacto complainant nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition. However the result of the said case in Crime No.74 of 2024 will no way affect the future employment of the petitioner for the Government job.

6. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
