The petitioners before this Court seeks a mandamus to direct the the respondents to consider the petitioners' candidatures for appointment in the respective post preferred by them in the light of exemption granted for "NCC-C" certificate holders and by considering the petitioners' representation dated 02.02.2023.

2. Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the candidatures of the petitioners were rejected and rejection orders were passed on 13.02.2023, which have been duly served on them on 15.02.2023. In view of the said submission, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed, however, liberty is

granted to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law, by challenging the rejection orders. No costs. 22.02.2023 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No RR To 1.The Chief of Army Staff Army Headquarters DHQ Post, South Block New Delhi.
