(Order of the Court was made by J. NISHA BANU, J.) By consent of both sides, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2.Even though a larger relief has been sought for by the petitioner to direct the respondents to lay B.T.Road in Bound Road Street, Kullappa Goundenpatti, Theni District, after removing the encroachments and clearing the drainage channel, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.01.2025 and to pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law within a time frame.

3.The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on merits. 2/5

4.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the official respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 31.01.2025, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner, as well as other persons, who may be affected with the final decision to be taken on the said representation, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
