Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and her husband based on the representation dated 15.02.2021. For Petitioner :Mr.V.Selvakumar For R1 & R2 :Mr.R.Erottuchamy Government Advocate (Criminal side)

ORDER

By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

2.Mr.V.Selvakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would contend that since the petitioner married against the wishes of her family members, the third respondent threatened the petitioner with dire consequences and therefore, sought for police protection.

3.Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would contend that the representation submitted by the petitioner was closed on 27.02.2021, after enquiring the petitioner and the third respondent. W.P.(MD)No.3894 of 2021 the third respondent gave an undertaking before the police that she would not disturb the present petitioner. 4.Recording the aforesaid submissions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
