This Writ Petition has been filed for forbearing the respondents 1 and 2 from anyway interfering with peaceful conduct of petitioner's business at "Nellai Thaamara" No.64, Maudrai Road, Hotel Palmyra Grand, Fifth Floor, Tirunelveli District based on the petitioner's representation, dated 31.01.2023.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police would submit that in pursuance of the order that was passed by the Principal Seat at Madras proper Rules have been framed by the Corporation, Chennai on 27.02.2019 in respect of granting licence to the Spas and beauty parlours etc., He has also submitted that the above said Rules having been extended through out the Tamil Nadu Municipal Corporation Limits.
3. Since the petitioner's Spa located in Thirunelveli, this is also covered in the Municipal Corporation Limit of Thirunelveli. Let the proper application be moved by this petitioner before the Municipal Commissioner for getting licence as per the above said Rules. If the 2/4
application is made by the petitioner before the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, the same will be considered by him on its own merits within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of application
4. With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
